The Tao Te Ching is a timeless classic text that bestows the virtue of living in accordance to universal law. It is a Chinese text written around 400 BC and traditionally credited to the sage Laozi (Lao Tzu). It literally means: = tao (the way) = te (strength/virtue) = ching (scripture).
