The Joy Between is a vibrant solo exhibition by Jess Domain, bringing together 16 works filled with color, light and moments of unexpected joy in one of New York City’s busiest crossroads.
Showcased on the ground floor of the Port Authority Bus Terminal near the 9th Avenue entrance, the collection lives within the constant rhythm of the city, where more than 200,000 people pass through each day. Created and curated for this extraordinary public setting, The Joy Between invites commuters, travelers and New Yorkers to discover a moment of beauty somewhere between where they’ve been and where they’re going.

The Silver Thread explores transformation through photography, paint and precious metal, bringing together works shaped by memory, movement and the changing nature of light.
Created during Domain’s week-long solo exhibition and live artist residency at Art Ovation Hotel, the collection reflects a process in which photography and painting become something new through layers of silver leaf, oil and acrylic.
