From New York to Sarasota: Jess Domain Debuts The Silver Thread Exhibition at Art Ovation Hotel
Sarasota, FL — October 1, 2025 — New York–based multidisciplinary artist Jess Domain returns to Sarasota to debut her latest exhibition, The Silver Thread, at Art Ovation Hotel, a property celebrated for its commitment to contemporary art and community engagement. The exhibition will be on view October 14–20, 2025, in the heart of downtown Sarasota.
The Silver Thread weaves through this collection as both a material and a metaphor. Silver leaf glimmers across the work, symbolizing the hidden treasures woven into everyday life — the interplay of shadow and light, the tension between restriction and freedom, the balance of giving and taking. These pieces act as mirrors, offering fragments of the shared human experience.
The exhibition features large-scale mixed media canvases and a limited series of Sarasota-inspired photographs, each layered with depth, texture, and energy that shifts from playful to intense to contemplative — inviting viewers to see something new with every glance as the light changes. Together, the works encourage viewers to look closer, to find connection in contrasts, and to follow the subtle thread that connects us all.

Her work debuted at New York Fashion Week in February 2022, presented on the red carpet by Art Hearts Fashion and Six Summit Gallery at the historic Ziegfeld Ballroom in Manhattan. With The Silver Thread, she now brings that same bold spirit to Sarasota, connecting her New York practice with the Gulf Coast’s thriving art scene.

About the Artist
Jess Domain is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York City. Her career spans music, performance, and visual arts, with works featured at New York Fashion Week and in galleries and homes across the U.S. Drawing inspiration from both the urban energy of Manhattan and the luminous beauty of Sarasota, Jess creates large-scale mixed media canvases that merge photography, paint, and metal leaf into singular, one-of-a-kind works.
