Description
Part of an ongoing Light Shadows photographic series, 47th Street Light Shadows captures a fleeting phenomenon created by sunlight reflecting from New York City's windows and other surfaces. When the light hits at a particular angle, brilliant white shapes appear across the city's sidewalks and streets—otherworldly forms that shift and disappear as the light changes.
The white shapes are captured in the original photograph, not digitally created. Applied color builds around and overlaps these naturally occurring forms, heightening something already extraordinary and transforming a fleeting moment of city light into abstraction.

20" H × 20" W — Edition of 15 — $850
30" H × 30" W — Edition of 10 — $1,500
40" H × 40" W — Edition of 5 — $2,400
Each size is produced as its own signed and numbered limited edition, with larger formats released in increasingly smaller editions. Each print is produced using archival pigment inks on fine art paper and individually signed and numbered. Once an edition in a particular size is complete, no additional prints will be produced in that size.
