Mixed Media on Canvas — Acrylic Paint, Silver Leaf
40” H × 16” W — 2026
Description
The Squeeze catches a cloud at the moment it has almost nothing left to give. Pressed between two opposing masses, it releases one final drop—a delicate line of silver created using the kirikane technique—before being pushed upward and out of the way.
There is humor in the absurdity of this scene, but something familiar underneath it: the people, places and circumstances that keep pressing until they have extracted everything they can. And yet the cloud gets the last word. Once there is nothing left to take, it is free to move on—lighter, intact and on its merry way.
